How is it possible that we are the parents of an 8 year old? We are still 20 right??? :)
Ethan woke up Wednesday February 15, 2012 very excited about his 8th birthday...he informed us that he could run faster and had grown what looked to be about 6 inches from just the night before!
Collin and I ate with Ethan at school to help him celebrate his "BIG" day. Another surprise came inside a Sonic bag as we decided that would be a more special lunch than the normal cafeteria food. After lunch Collin and I went back to Ethan's classroom to watch him celebrate with some super yummy cookies for dessert.
When the kids sang Happy Birthday to him our outgoing boy suddenly became shy...it was priceless!

We will be celebrating his special dinner on Thursday because dad will be home that evening, he will have a neighborhood friend party Saturday, and on Monday his big present from us is a trip to Jenks, Oklahoma to see the sharks at the Oklahoma Aquarium! What a celebration our 8 year old is going to experience. I will post pictures once those events happen.
